Stan Goodenough's blog (Jerusalem Watchman) is one of my favorite Israel-related blogs. Even though Stan is a professional journalist, he does not load his site up with more-Israel-news-than-you-can-digest. His is a very straightforward site with frequent postings that give insightful analysis--from a Biblical perspective--Israel in current events.
His latest posting, "Who's Afraid of Obama's Team?," is a gem. Here's part of what he has to say about the prospect of further world upheaval resulting from an Obama-driven peace initiative:
When facing daunting times or issues, we Christians are often quick to verbally express our faith in God and our belief in His ability to overcome all things. We’re sometimes quicker, however, to register feelings of dismay; even of fear. And frequently - as I must personally confess - we cast around for solutions and ways out of the impending crisis, sometimes speculating wildly about how the Almighty might intervene to foil the plans of the enemy. Foil those plans He will, we assure one another, even as we go from nervously nail-biting one finger to nervously nail-biting the next.
