In 2008, after four years of prayerful preparation, we officially launched Square One Ministries.
Our desire was to facilitate a relevant, Biblically based expression of Christian family, community and ministry.
We have experienced God in many beautiful ways as we have gathered in homes; sharing meals, gifts and talents, times of prayer and ministry, and the wonder of God shining through His people.
Over the last few years our understanding has deepened and the Lord has stretched our vision.
Now, more than ever, we are excited about what God is doing and our part in His plan for this challenging, opportune season.
Combining creativity, worship, Biblical truth, a passion for the arts, and practical “realness”, we meet and minister as the Spirit leads with love, joy, compassion, and simplicity of heart.
We recognize and celebrate our place in the larger community of Christians, and work in all we do to further the unity of Believers and the edification of the Body of Christ as a whole.
We are a fellowship of Believers seeking ways to daily express the kingdom of heaven in our society.
To this end, we facilitate prayer meetings, Christian concerts, conferences, outreach events, and service opportunities.
All that we do is birthed in prayer and sustained by prayer.
Our desire is to walk as Jesus did when He stated in John 5:19, “...the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.”
We certainly have not mastered this principle, but our goal is to try and practically live it out to the best of our abilities.
